BARRIE STEVENSON’S SILVER-FLO 55 used to join the common engineering metals such as copper, copper alloys (brass, bronze, nickel silver, aluminium bronze, copper nickel), nickel alloys, steel, stainless steel and tungsten carbide. Silver-flo™ 55 is a general-purpose cadmium-free filler metal combining low brazing temperatures with short melting ranges. Free flowing, produce neat joints and are easy to use. Used as replacements for cadmium-containing filler metals. Melting Range 630 – 660°C. Wire size 0.5mm x 1M. Manufactured by Johnson Matthey. Requires a flux such as Barrie Stevenson’s Easy-Flo Flux Powder.
