Following over 30 years of careful growth, the original business of Squires Model & Craft Tools has grown to new areas of Modelling and beyond. Now better known as Squires, we are proud to share with you other brands and ranges within our family of brands.

Finesse Design - Fine Pewter Hardware
Finesse Design is our newest and biggest range to join the family. Finesse is hand crafted at our Factory Facility in Consett, County Durham. Finesse is a stunning range of Pewter Hardware. Whilst this may seem a million miles away from Squires, the gap is less than it may seem. Using clever Spin Casting Technology, the same sort of manufacturing processes are engaged to produce this range. Full details can be found on the Finesse Website.

DJH Model Loco
Following the sad closure of DJH Engineering in 2024, we are delighted to be taking on the wonderful range of DJH Kits in O and OO Gauge, as well as the Piercy Model Products. Production has remained at Consett where we have now been able to open a Retail Shop showcasing our DJH Kits and other Squires favourites.

Green Scene
Green Scene joined Squires in 2022 and has grown ever sinse. With new Flocks and Scatters being added to the range, plus an exciting development of a Mk2 Flock-It, this range is a firm favourite on the Squires Exhibition Stand.

Freestone Model Accessories
Freestone joined the Squires Family towards the end of 2023. This excellent range is proudly featured on our Green Scene Website as well as on this site here. This range includes Backscenes in both N and OO Scales. Although marked as N and OO these are often used on other scales to give a perspective of greater depth. A range of kits, builder’s papers and more in various scale and make up the Freestone Range.

South Eastern Finecast & Stevensons Carriages
South Eastern Finecast was truly the start of the Squires Family growth into the world of Spin Casting. Production has now been relocated to our dedicated Factory in Consett, allowing for more kits to return to the market. A new Finecast Website was also launched in 2024 marking another step forward for this range. South Eastern Finecast is also the home of Stevensons Carriages, ex247 Developments Coaches and Millholme Models. These last two ranges are yet to return to full production, however this exciting project is underway.
