Description

PLANET WORK BENCH a useful variation of the bench pin, manufactured from tough plastic and supplied with 2 bench fixing clamps. The maximum capacity of the table clamps is 45mm. The large work surface is ideal for supporting fragile workpieces when cutting intricate shapes. The bench surface has 3 small slots which are ideal for holding thin strips of material while filing etc. For larger pieces, 2 posts are supplied which can be located in any of 12 holes, the work piece is then held against this when sawing or filing. The front of the bench has a step which is ideal for holding small pieces when sawing. The work bench surface has holes which are the centre of a socket under the bench, these are used for marking the centre of a dowel. Socket diameters:- 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10mm. A miniature vice attachment is also available which locates into any of the 12 holes in the work surface. The attachment has 24mm jaws, which open to 14mm max.
